Hey, I'll be completely honest with you guys and say that I couldn't be bothered to read EVERYTHING in this thread. But with the whole if you can read you should know how to spell part...it does make sense....IF YOU HAD THE MONEY TO GO TO A SCHOOL IN THE FIRST PLACE...
Remember not the whole world has money in their pockets to throw away at a system where their kids will learn to spell and add etc, when they first have to worry about GETTING that money in the first place.
Not that I'm saying I'm miss know it all, but I've travelled a fair bit were literally I had neighbours that lived in clay huts. For their families it was about having their kids take care of the house until they were old enough to work and get money for the family.
Another part altogether has to do with the learning difficulties that some kids suffer from, nowadays dyslexia is found more often in classes with inturn makes it hard for kids to read and write.
...sorry but I felt that that side of the argument needed to be made aware aswell. Completely agree that it's annoying when people don't know how to spell, but shit...we're all human. And as humans we're all prone to making mistakes.
