We all have certain things we like and a "thick woman" is just as beautiful in my book as a "Mini-Thin"... I need to lose some weight. After the holidays, I am going on a NO carb diet. I do ZUMBA everyday, for a hour. I walk and will start jogging the Ocean springs/Biloxi bridge. Which is 3.5 miles. I go to the gym. I also wanna take up boxing and yoga.

Zumba is a lot of fun. It's definitely a work out and I feel amazing afterwards.

I'm also aware that I am not in the BEST of health, but I will get there. One day at a time.

My weight will not consume me.

Thank you, Blah, for your excellent post. You are so aware and straight forward - and on target. I am aware that all of us in life have an issue or more, and those who are overweight show it quickly to the world. I was born and raised to be a perfect asshole, and that doesn't always show - but it's still there nonetheless. Accordingly, I try to use compassion and understanding with others. Often, being overweight is a symptom of a "depressed" self image, brought on by cruel remarks by others. Doesn't matter whether those remarks were correct or not - the emotional pain is in the subconscious mind and plays back, again and again. Positive mental imaging and hypnosis will fix that within a month, but your approach is excellent too. Stay with it and remember that others care about your efforts!

I don't know what Zumma is but it rhymes with Humma, and giving a Hummer for an hour or so each day will also help with every diet plan. Sex burns plenty of calories. AND - there are plenty of intelligent people in the world that are accepting enough to help. Keeping the mouth occupied on other items other then food helps in most cases. (except Rosie, OPRAH & Rush)

To be quite frank with you, I can careless if anyone cares about my efforts or not. I'm not losing weight to please them and I am losing weight because I want too and I know that I would feel better. Fat or thin, I am still beautiful. If people can't accept that, then that's their problem.
