The government is clearly scared. The media likes to portray the Occupy protests as nothing, but look at what it's doing. There was a National, militarized attack on protestors recently. That is hardly coincidental. Now they pass this bill in the middle of the night. I can only hope that the President vetoes it, but even if he does, Congress can vote to override his veto and have it passed into law anyway. Hell, if the President waits more than 10 days to respond, it gets passed into law automatically. And even if we're lucky enough that it doesn't get passed - this time - now we know how more than 90% of the senate thinks about its' people's rights. If this shit goes down, I'm moving to Canada. Lol.

The bill passed the house last night now it goes to Obama to be come law.

Last I checked, they reworded it to not include US citizens. Still troubling, though, that they even tried it.

I watched an interview with Senator's Jim DeMint and Mike Lee. They said nothing was changed. It still allows American's to be taken and detained with out a trial or due process. I was mistaken it has to go back through Senate again today. This bill also lifts the ban on bestiality in the military.

I don't know maybe it's just me but, is there internment camps in our future? The bestiality thing well I'm glad I am retired I would have big issues with soldiers having sex with animals.

Well this just shows the direction Obama is taking us. Giving himself far reaching unprecedented authority, while his democrat led Senate passes bills to allow use of US military on US soil against any and all persons. Even with the changes in the law noted after this was posted. It is scarry as hell. Hey I know, lets take all legally owned guns from the citizens, then they'll be no resistance.
