This site is being over run with scammers. we need to start reporting them. no it is not easy to stop them but, atleast report them. if there are any doubts first, take your brains out of your pants and think. there are many idicators to let you know if you are dealing with a scammer. also you can check ROMANCE SCAM dot com

You are absolutely correct! First thing I do is ask them where they are NOW, not where they quickly say they are from. Then, I notice how they construct their sentences. If words are missing or sentences don't make sense, you have likely found a fat ass black Nigerian posing as a young female. Also, watch for the misuse of American slang. They toss that in to bond with but it often doesn't fit the context of the message. I ask them for their current location - street name and nearest intersection. That's a show stopper for all of them cause they haven't done their homework that well. Get them to email you directly so you can use www.iptracker.com to see where that email was mailed from. Doesn't work with all but it's good for 90%. Lastly, don't pay anything to anyone for anything, ever. www.nigeria419.com is a good site for reporting and spotting but it doesn't find them all.

Thanks Jim! Yea i know their tricks! That my friend is not the issue. I read some of these bu**s**t forums about so much junk that people are worried about but allow scammers to run this site. When I say we should report them well, i mean on here also. This is a major avenue for them. Several months ago I was sent a warning letter from the webdate webmaster, i think it was, anyway i was warmed about reporting too many people. Ironic??? I didn't think so. i think webdate needs to introduce better security and screening.

Well, I have caught about 6 in the last 2 weeks, which is a lot, to be sure. I blow them up with a very aggressive no BS attack and do not yield an inch. I also post a comment so that everyone who reads comments will instantly be on guard. I think that if everyone else were to do the same thing instead of just bitching or eating it, we'd have a better site.

Same attitude goes for government. Government is a flea on the dog, sucking blood. Government only "gives away" what it takes from others. If people would say "no more taxes" to government, it would be a step ahead.

I think the reason why they're so many scammers on this site, is because Webdate is free!....this is a website where you don't have to pay to upgrade, or anything else like that!.....of course they're scammers like these somewhere on every dating site, but if a scammer is out to take your money, they'll most likely flock to a website where they don't have to give any money!

Yes free this is the reason but what pisses me off about them is that i have been out of work for months. webdate has been a way, when i had to be home bound terporarly for me to make new friends, etc. well, webdate has it so that if i do not have pic, if i am too old, or etc that people can stop me from even contacting them and wasting my time. i think yes you are rite free is the problem but if they are going to allow discrimination for age, location, and etc the should implement so security also

I clicked on that "report" button that you're talking about!.....it didn't do anything but just say "USER REPORTED-OK" afterwards.....this is one of those "sign up at your own risk" free dating sites!....free sites like these, are easy for fools to get in and fuck shit up!....it's happening on all kinds of sites!....Webdate has always had this kind of problem with the scam dummies!.....most people now, probably don't even come on the site to meet anyone!.....just argue with each other back and fourth in the forums!.....it's more interesting to debate and curse at each other, than to complain about the scammers (and stupid ones at that!).....I don't think it would be this bad if we had to pay for membership!....some sites are just better than others, so I guess everybody's on their own as far as protecting themselves....just simple common sense!

I guess you're right about that!....if enough people click on that report button regarding a specific profile, Webdate should take action!....alot of guys fuck around on this site by responding, and commenting to those fake profiles!....wasting time responding to every profile that looks interesting!.....that same one who copied the essays from my profile, and is using it word for word, is still running around on this site!....not really much complaining we can do about it!....other members will just say "if you don't like it, get out of Webdate!".....it really does fuck the site up, for the people really looking to meet!

well, bro unfortunately i am out of work on Long Term Disability. Webdatge years ago was a good site to make some new friends. Since my medical leave of absense has been prolonged, i rejoined webdate last year. After a visus and harrassment of a individual i have made it a point to report scammers/419 not only on here but i take the time to report them other places. Don't get me wrong i have nothing against anyone and i enjoy making new friends but i do not roll with fake ass people.

I was a member on this site a few years back myself, around 2004....not much has changed since then.....I used to get alot of those bitches from Accra, Ghana Scammers!....what was so bad about it, was that they were the only ones, who viewd my profile!...no one from my local area looks at my profile....maybe one or two, but I get more views from the scammers, than the local women!....then and now!

Yes i believe you. i have a friend in NC that lost a hard drive because a scammer got pissed at her that she would not send money and sent her a virus. www.419.com or www.romancescam.com. Most of the pics that are send out to victims you can find there

hey bro you need not fight just report them. if they are using yahoo, msn well there is a way to report them on there too. on yahoo instand message click help at the top of the im box then a menu will drop down. click REPORT ABUSE it takes less than 3 mins.

Internet websites especially dating ones unfortunately are flooded with the scammers.Almost all of the dating websites have scammer bitches in there.Those devil,luciferian,evil,dirty,di sgusting scammer bitches from Africa or wherever have been destroying the internet for a very long time.We People need to report those evil scammer bastards to the websites.

Now, that's what i am talking about. if they contact you on yahoo messenger or any other messenger, there are ways to report them. On yahoo, at the top of the instant message box, click on HELP you will see a drop down box, click REPORT ABUSE and complete the form.

I never tried that method before....I sometimes cut them short, before going that far to the messengers!....for now on, I will start baiting the ones who try the bullshit with me just to report them....might as well have a little fun with them!.....whatever it's worth!

HYNRG11 .....I want to ask you this!....how do you report a scammer who sends a message to your email address?....I got a email from a scammer, from another dating site today!....I responded to the email address they gave me, just to see what they would send back, and they responded back with this long ass letter......check this bullshit out!.........
