Naw, doesn't sound like the stuff in chocolate bars. Noo jent. He is a guitarist. He was in multiple bands and also had a very successful solo career. If you've ever heard the song "High Enough" by the Damn Yankees, that'd be him on guitar. That's the song everyone knows.

Actually Ted Nugent is better known for his solo career...NOT for the two albums he did with the Damn Yankees. Most notable and popular songs from him: Stranglehold, cat scratch fever, free for all, great white buffalo, wango tango, and Hey Baby just to name a few. He is also well known for his bowmanship for hunting deer and actually has his own club I believe somewhere in Michigan.
I know the amount of things he's done, but that doesn't change the fact that any random person on the street more often knows the song High Enough than anything else.

High Enough was just a one hit wonder for the Damn Yankees and if you mention Ted Nugent to any random person its his solo career people are going to mention before they mention any song from the DY. But if you were to say Tommy Shaw people may remember that he was the lead vocalist for that song High Enough, still people would think first of Tommy Shaw as one of the lead vocalists/guitarists of the band Styx. So in theory whomever you speak to and/or ask about Ted Nugent DOES change the fact about what song(s) people know he is best related to!

The motor city madman was in a tree stand in michigan when jack blades and tommy shaw wrote "high enough". I guess he has DSL in that tree stand. Jack Blades said that "Ted went hunting when he visited me in Northern CA and we don't have hunting seasons." LOL
To think that I am over 40 and un-married makes reality a long hard road. I recently read that Avril Lavigne is divorced now... gee i wonder if I should try and contact her? Actually, I just like a few Ted nugent songs, like "great white buffalo".
