Great idea Lynette! I'm Julie, single mom of fourteen yr old son. Devoted myself to raising my child, so I have not been on a date in twelve years. Now my son wants me to get out and enjoy life (as he is a teenager, I assume that he is not being extra nice to his mom for a change, rather he wants me out of the house so he can have some fun of his own...) THis is much harder now than when I was 20... :(

I am 57 and very positive that someone special will come into my life but, I find myself saying this every year now. I keep trying. I have three other children. They are raised and college graduates. I have two small grandsons. I have much to share with someone special. I'm finding that I'm spending days off alone. My 15 year old is growing up. Alone is no fun. So, I spend my alone days on the computer meeting friends. I have not met that special person but, I have met friends that have been an encouragement to me!
