I signed on to this site looking for a lady about my age, within 50 miles, interested in no strings attached fun. Sent messages to several area ladies in my age range. Explained clearly I'm in an open marriage. Invited them to message me, or meet and see where it goes. No response! Zilch. Nothing along the lines of, "No thanks", "I'm not into that", not even a simple, "Drop dead you creep!" Then, out of left field, I get a message from a 29 year old woman in Brazil? Brazil? LOL!!! Of course, she's not real. It's probably some 19 year old acne faced hacker, from Whispering Springs, Nebraska , anxious to download the latest virus he wrote. I think I'll just go fishing. At least on Tuesday I caught 2 trout. This is a major waste of time. Cheers!

Most of us do not bother responding when we are not interested. I can't speak for others, but the reason I don't respond is because usually when I do, even with something as simple as "I'm not interested," I tend to get nasty responses. When I don't respond, I usually don't hear from them again.
