Well, Cozzmo, it is exemplary that you have developed yourself to that level of perfection but others of us are still working on it. The lady you severely criticized is a good person with a fine brain and much compassion, who helps a lot of readers with quality advice and attention, but sometimes she is a little more direct than some would handle well. You lack history here so it may be best for you to see how others respond before you righteously fire your double-barrel shotgun. Otherwise, you will attract fire yourself and there are some people here who would reduce even you to humiliation. :-)

Wait a minute now. I have to say that the first encounter I had with Nighthowl wasn't that pleasant either. All it took was for me to misread her name. I'm not sure if that's your nature or you just come off sounding that way but Ms. Howl, we all have feelings. lol, I can't keep a straight face. NOW, NOW, you guys, don't be too harsh on me because as Jimmy M. says, I am a man of the cloth!

i would say my ratio good compared to nasty is probably 100 good for every 1 nasty. sometimes i just can't hold back.

normally i try to be the sane voice in the crowd and try to give advice from someone who has been around the corner a few times.

i promise i will try to be nicer. :)

Sacman68, you are amazingly clever, with a good memory. I saw your first encounter with nighthowl and shuddered, but it all worked out. Good! I have great respect for nighthowl, EARNED from reading all of her posts this year. As lilianapet is likely to have said, "time tells everything." and I admire her too. So, welcome to "the club" and keep the humor coming. :-)

Wow! Theres so much love in the air, I think I'll sing now.......I write the songs that make......wait a minute, any guy caught singing that I could be considered gay. I think ill just go back to walking death row inmates to execution, "Me gustibus. You gustibus. We missed the bus. They missed the bus.", "Post meridian. Ante meridian. Uncle meridian. All of the little meridians.", (guess the movie)

I understand where you're coming from, and will address the statement, not the fact that you're married.
I find it hard to view myself from the generic view of age also. People have mistaken me for a college girl lately. And I love that, and I am attracted more so to men in their 30s & 40s. We seem to mesh with activities we like to do, and mentally.

But I have had the same. I just try to not take it hard and move on, because I have things I find that appeals to me and don't mean to insult anyone or hurt anyone's feelings. Example: Friends come in all physiques but romance wise I'm attracted to slim/lean men.

Most people have a deep childhood imprint in their minds of their parents. Usually, it is the mother they are fixated on cause mom was the emotional provider. Therefore, guys look for their mother. I doubted that for many years and then realized it was true. Doesn't apply if mom was a bitch, although she affects children's future in other ways.

OMG I am 58 years old and have had relationships with a number of women. They have all be much younger than me. They found that I can give them more in bed that the guys their age, who tend to leave them frustrated, angry and hurt. I have also been told that I'm too old but its usually by the mucher younger women. The women in their 30s are at their sexual peaks and I can satify them, when given the chance. What I say when I find women that think I'm too old..."Next!"

Your comment is disgusting -- disgustingly true. Neither women or men are very intelligent, actually, and just follow the leader, who is young and is popular on TV. What a way for a culture to live, huh? You (and I) have to look for the rebel who doesn't care what others believe and is willing to take a chance on us. Results always speak louder than words, so our case is good if we get to the presentation stage. Hang in there! :-)

Reply to: wonder why age would be an issue when it just for a extramarital fling?
The lady wasn't being mean, she was trying to tell you something you needed to know.

Wonders why men in their 50's. or even 40's think they look 30 when they very obviously don't to everyone else on the planet? Does testosterone make men blind when they look in the mirror? Best thing for you guys and your relationships is a reality check, maybe then you wouldn't be trying to trade your 40-50 year old wife or gf for something much younger than you.

Trust me, when you are with a younger woman, you look even older than you are. The contrast is striking, and for the most part really, really creepy.

I suppose when some look in the mirror, they see who they used to be and not as they are now.
As to the "honest and open extramarital relationship", open and honest as in the spouse knows? Or meaning open and honest in admitting to the other woman that he /she is married and looking to cheat?
If the wife knows then perhaps it is an open relationship with honesty. If she doesn't then who is he kidding? And if he found she was having an "open and honest extramarital relationship" with another-how would he take it?
