Chocolate, is it good for you, or is it just something we all love? Does this wonderful flavor make your complexion look like moon craters, or is this just hype? Is giving chocolate a great way to make-up after a disagreement, or just keep the box? Do women really love chocolate?

I love chocolate. But, it is probably not good for me cause it is full of calories. I am addicted to it.

Actually, real chocolate is good for your heart. It's the sugary sweet stuff that is bad for you. The darker, the better.

Jem, damn your smart! Dark chocolate will prevent up too 80% heat loss from your head in the winter. Thats why C-Rations had chocolate in them for the soldiers to eat in cold weather conditions. Chocolate is a very tasty, and good for you treat. The darker the better, but added sugar can also be used for energy.

The added sugar is just for addiction, taste and calories. Simple table sugar doesn't last long in our bodies, even with the average metabolism.

Like that chocolate ice cream Sundae, or the chocolate cake my mom brought home from her retirement dinner yesterday, I am addicted. It is the only thing that tastes good. At my age the middle is coming on. I look down and see nothing but, flab where my waistline used to be. It gets so depressing I have to eat more sugar to make me feel better. It's a never ending battle. I can sniff chocolate a mile away when the kids were little they used to hide the chocolate Easter Rabbits so I would't eat the ears off of them. Yum, yum chocolate an addiction.

Who couldnt be addicted to chocolate. I have had an afinity for my entire life thus far, and it aint givin in to age. On cold mornings I usually bust-off a chunk to stay warm when I am at work. Im not fat from it, and when I do this it makes me happy so as not to even want breakfast.

I actually rarely eat the stuff. Then again, I'm not much for sweets. And the good, dark stuff is too rich to eat all the time.

Chocolate is one of the best foods ever. It introduces endorphins into your brain shortly after you eat it and induces a pleasant/more positive outlook. It can be an aphrodisiac, quick energy through caffine and sugar. It has sooooo many different textures and flavors that it is unique. There is no dark strawberry, no white coffee or hot steak sundae. Hershy has it right, there is a smile in every bar.

Hi, all. Yes, chocolate is heaven... both physiologically and emotionally! Raw chocolate has nothing bad at all in it. To sweeten it, add agave. It doesn't rot your teeth or upset the body's blood sugar, from what I have read. I'm not an activist, politically, so please don't attack me for what I'm about to say.... I am on a vegan diet.... for health reasons. Meat is unnecessary and makes no sense for us to eat. Without it, chocolate can even be an ENTREE! What a wonderful world! .... {smiling from ear to ear}
