Ceremony for the first Students graduated from Nugal University faculty of BA (Business Administration)

It was hold ceremonial hall of Hotel Hamdi, the first students whom graduated Nugal University of Las-anod city of the north-east quadrant of Somalia, where they received their Bachelor degree of Business Administration the even take place like this:


First Sh. Moh’ud Halike opened the ceremony reciting the holy Qur’an and short religious words in which he encouraged the post graduate students to keep up the education along their religious education.

Yasin Moh’ed Abdi a member of Development committee of Togdher took the microphone he congratulated the graduated students, adding that he pleased to attend this ceremony, he encouraged the community of sool region to uplift their university adding that the community can realize development by self help he pointed that community of Bur’o solely implemented Bridge in the Bur’o town, he closed his words requesting the community of Sool region to boost their efforts in the upgrading and updating of education sector particularly University of Nugal.

Ahmed Moh’ed Karshe (Ahmed Aato) a member of Sool Diaspora in the Scandinavian countries he talked deeply the stages that education of Las-anod seen, he pointed that the graduating students of today have more lucky than the previous students, adding that in his youth time there was no chance of higher education in the Sool, students need suck kind of higher education were going to far away places, he said Diaspora community paid many efforst in the updating and upgrading of education of las-anod finally he closed his words requesting students to proceed their education and make sustainable future for the others.

Abdirashid Jama Bihi a member of Nugal University Board of Trustee detailed stages seen by university of Nugal since its foundation time, he said the Board paid many efforts in the accomplishment of educational goal in the university he said we are thanking to Allah as we today seeing our first compliment as the first students today received their bachelor degree on the other hand he requested the Diaspora to play their role in educational status of the region finally congratulated the students for their long-term patience in realizing this achievement

Keyse Awil Regional Education Officer of Sool took the microphone, he said that the region needs increase of Secondary school in order that education of the region shall get more improvement he said that he is delighted to see the first students receiving their Bachelor Degree of Business Administration finally requested graduated students to take their role in the improvement and capacity building of education in the region.



Ahmed A/lahi Jama Arab and Bashe young poets read the hall encouragement and congratulation poems to the students graduated from Nugal University of Las-anod their talked the importance of Somali oral literature and culture and finnaly closed their poems that they are delighted on this event

Farah Hussein (Hadhigle) a member of development committee of Togdher region took the microphone first congratulated the students graduating from the university of Nugal especially department of Social science faculty of Business Administration, on the other hand he narrated story of how Buro city Bridge was implemented he said after the idea was conceived we approached to the International Agencies working in Somaliland they responded that they can’t fund this project only the world bank can fund the implementation of the project of Bridge building, but we started the work by collected contributions from the businessmen of the city and later the president of Somaliland contributed some fund to the project he told that amount of 550,000$ dollars were estimated the budget being implemented the bridge after that the International agencies responded that they realized our community can do something so you can do something of your own if you try finally he requested the students to proceed their education and thanked the attendants of the ceremony.

A/rahman Jama Du’ale Dean of Bur’o University detailed the importance of education and how his university began he said it was begun under three later two rooms in a former government building but finnaly now university is in its own compound, he pointed that graduating students have more lucky than those live in the foreign countries as here there is religious rites in which is nothing in the foreign non slamic countries, he said the educated person assists all the society of Moslem he finally requested to upgrade and update the education of las-anod and the region thanking the attendants.

A/rizak Lafole Dean of Nugal University detailed stages university seen he said we are proposing to increase number of students graduating from the university and we do more if we try to do he requested the students to have in mind to upgrade and increase their effort of education, he added that is happy to see first achievement nugal university seen since its establishment in 2004..

Finally the Mayor of Las-anod District Mr. Ahmed Aw Dahir took the microphone he congratulated the students graduated from the university now took their Bachelor Degree of Business administration, he said the region was good in education previously on the other hand he pointed that these days we seen explosive devices in our town so you the community should understand that we have to work together to stop this problem of explosive plastics seen rarely in our las-anod town he finally requested from the Diaspora to invest their country by industrialization, job creation activities etc he finally closed the ceremony.




Anyway the occasion ended in a manner appreciated by all attendants because first students graduated from Nugal University took their Bachelor Degree of Business Administration
