What do you feel is proper etiquette when a conversation is started over minutes,Weeks or months?
What do you first notice that turns you right off and when do you end the conversation?

if they start talking sex in the first convo, it is usually a red flag for me.

If a female starts asking me about how much do I make or what kind of high-end job I have within the first thirty minutes, the conversation is over at that point. IMHO, I feel that is a major nuisance to ask something like that when you're just starting to get to know a person. Are you trying to get to know me or are you trying to get to know my money??

Whether it be in writing or in person, if someone uses ebonics I'm done. Speak to me properly or don't speak at all.

One thing that turns me right off is when a guy asks me a question that I consider my choice whether I am ready to give out that information. And secondly if I don't answer and he starts insulting me because he didn't get his way. (This actually happened recently to me) Like for instance I don't use my name on here for a reason and I'm not ready to give it always in the first 5 minutes or maybe not even for days or weeks. I am much more than My name. If a guy doesn't show interest in finding out who i am then time is being wasted.
Time to block him.
And if he's going to throw a temper tantrum , why in the world would I want to have anything to do with that? So I blocked him.

I got to chatting with a girl on here and in the midst of getting to know her, I asked what her name was, but I also emphasized that if she wasn't comfortable with sharing it yet, I'd understand. Call me big headed, but I think that guy could learn a few things from me.

His profile said he was 51. But his first line to me was that he just turned 111. So I asked him what his game is since his profile says he is 51? He tells me I'm being too analytical and I should know he is just kidding because I don't have an age preference and my preference actually says any age up to 110.

I just have to say that I think its pretty silly to say a name is just a name n not tell someone your name. Its a name something to call you, i ask ppl their name all the time, i would want to call you hey you or wtfe lol

Everyone has their own set of "red flags" they watch for and there are probably as many red flags as there are people. So we've all seen our red flags from time to time. You're assuming everyone has the same set of red flags but that's just not the case.

Case in point ... one of my red flags is someone who thumps the bible, that is OBVIOUSLY not one of yours. So your question is ridiculous!

She also has problems with people actually trying to get to know her. Which lets face it, not many people will want to do.

A Red Flag is when there are signs that someone is being sneaky and no good can come out of the situation. They are out to get you but they pretend otherwise.Back stabbers, people that have a superiority complex and haters are all in the category of Red flaggers
People who bring up topics and then get angry because they are discussed definitely have issues and that's a Red Flag.
People that love to be disagreeable all the time. -That's a red flag
People who lie to make their friend look good even though their friend is wrong-that's a red flag.

People that never admit they are wrong-that's a red flag
People that lurk about seeing what trouble they can stir up- that's a red flag
People that pretend to be your friend and then pounce on you ( On forums)- that's a red flag
People that hate positive people- are red flag people
People that post on every thread and accuse the person who created the thread of being a stalker- that's a red flag
Just as equally a person who responds to someone and then complains about the conversation- that's a red flag
But on the case of the Forums I am not waving a white flag!
