I have been on here for years but have never actually been asked to meet anyone, possibly because everyone that writes to me lives in another country. These sites are a waste of time I think. Let me know your opinions please.

I've been asked to meet on several occasions. Not on this site but many others. I did meet someone once but It didn't work out. Like you said. Meeting guys on here (The internet) Is one thing and whatever you and he created in your mind for it to be is in you mind. The real Test of Chemistry only happens in person. You can never know until you meet him.Never before. The question in my mind is always? Am I putting myself in danger? It's better to not meet him alone in a secluded place. I met him at a bar where there were people I knew.

I brought someone with me. The agreement was that if there was any Chemistry we would Know in the first 15 minutes. There was none. He wasn't my type and I wasn't his. Respectfully we still did chat for a while but not under the same pretenses. Now there was a decent man but he just wasn't the one for me.

Not a good Idea to have slept with him so soon. But I can relate to the fact that I was fooled before by my own temptations. Knowing all to well that sleeping with a guy so soon stands a chance of killing the feeling created by the anticipation. The Real Deal doesn't come with strings attached though.

Sometimes things do just sort of happen. The unplanned events are sometimes the best ones.

I think the puking was mostly due to the fact that he was only the second guy I'd been with and still wasn't over the first relationship!

The other reason I am Leary is stuff I hear on the news about dangerous experiences people have had. Take the "Craigs list Killer" for instance.
There is yet another reason for me to be Leary.
But When I hear success stories like yours it helps to know that there are some normal situations on here.

Yes, it is. It is very possible to meet someone who is exactly who they claim to be.

I've thought about meeting a few females off of here, but to this point, it has not happened yet. I require a medical background check from your local doctor along with a legitimate High School diploma that says that you're smarter than the average bear. Oh wait, you'd have to be smarter than Yogi Bear. That shouldn't be too difficult to master.

How to spot a bad person.
watch out how he is to women..how he talks..behaves towards them..this is a first sign.
Is he controlling,dominaring,does he try and domineer the room,..This ia another warning to look out for.

2005 i met 2 guys off here.one i travelled from england to jacksonville florida..to discover he was just a player and a year of lieing.and the 2nd was a controling agressive mental case.Now the 2nd person was a regular.but i should of realised by his behaviour on the net hewas goin to be trouble
