The first time I was there, was in 1980.

I was hitch-hiking, and found a field of ditch weed.

I threw away all my clothes, and filled my backpack with wild marijuana.

I stuck out my thumb, and went to California; where I sold the weed, and bought a plane ticket to Hawaii.

Nebraska's nice; but, Hawaii mo bettah.

They say, Ohio is alive, and well, and living in California.

Everywhere I go, I meet Buckeyes from Ohio.

But, I never met somone from Nebraska, outside of that state!

Hey now ,I live in nebraska ! And yes weed grows wild everwhere here ! And yes larry the cable guy lives very close to me he is from nebraska . My brother did a plumbing job at his house and my bro said he was real cool hung with them and talked .As far as there being people here shark, there is 250,000 in lincoln where i live, and almost a million in omaha which is like 40 mins from me .I live in lincoln which is the capitol city and since the college football stadium and the university are here ,its unreal hown many bars are downtown ,im talking like every business downtown is a bar, big party town !

My brother is moving to Omaha in a few weeks because of work and I was really dreading going and seeing him because I just couldn't believe that there would be anything going on there. I feel slightly better now! ;)

Okay, ya got me.

I kept the clothes on my back; some long underwear, and a jacket, to get me over the Rockies in September.



But, I sure felt naked when the Utah State Trooper caught me on the Interstate sitting on the pack full of weed, and told me, My ID smelled just like marijuana!

I had a poker face, until he let me go.

Then I had a nervous breakdown; I almost threw it all into the desert. LOL

No Larry the Cable Guy is from Ohio and has a Masters in English and a Bachlors in what I believe is Behavioral Science

LOL...I'm so need a good laugh and this thread did it! In Mx's defense, Larry was born in Omaha and grew up there. I think it would be reasonable to say that he probably has a house somewhere in Nebraska to be close to family.
