I'm single because i think i'm into spending time with my daughters right now and just have not found the one to distract me yet.Theres much to be said for dating and just meeting people and having fun.

I am single because I left a counterfeit of a marriage meant to bind me to the underworld -and because I refuse to obey evil men or refrain from telling people things they really need to know. I'd say it was because those evil and/or secretive men seek to harm those I love -which they do -but they do that anyway. It's their gig -it's what they do -it's how they expand. No -it's more so that anyone I would want to be with would have to be just as determined to do the right thing -even under threat -and would have enough faith to know that what becomes of us is ultimately not for men to decide.

I think there is a lot of truth to that, while there has to be some compromise in a relationship, I tend to think that these days a lot of people compromise on to much stuff or change themselves just to suit the relationship and it ends up leaving them unhappy or they revert to who they really are and the other person is left wondering just who the hell they married.

I am single because I am not desperate to settle in just any relationship - if someone comes along and rocks my world - Awesome! If not....that's awesome too - I don't need anyone to 'complete' me...I am already.

That is me too nightowl. Also after my marriage breakup of 22 years and him leaving for a very young girl, it destroyed my self-esteem and I sometimes just hate men.

Im not sure why I'm single, but I know it was at least 50 percent his fault. There were problems from like week 3, but we both hung in there with eachother, probably too long.

Once I get hurt, by someone I really love, I tend to withdraw after that. With my X, he didnt acknowledge the real pain I was in, he couldn't talk about problems etc, and he'd get mad. I just kept withdrawing more, and he kept getting angrier. Communiciation is so important in my opinion, but to my X conversation was taboo...

So we slowly fell out of love with eachother..

Because I don't like people, I have a 'hard time' talking to people, I have a tendency to insult people, especially for idiocy. I don't have many common interests with the majority of people, and I don't honestly give a shit what at least 80% of the world (US country *) thinks. I don't conform to their "standards" by any means. I honestly think make-up is ugly, and sluts are turn-offs. Even "flirts" or people who like to expose themselves and go "tee hee, I'm cute huh?" Or some other bullshit.

Have you ever considered that insulting people for their "idiocy" is a form of idiocy in itself? No offense, but maybe if you realized the irrationality of demeaning others for not being as "intelligient" as you are.. (it helps nobody, serves no purpose, hurts others, and causes others not to want to be around you) then maybe you wouldnt be so alone, and I know you are very alone. If you didnt want friends, or to be acknowledged. you wouldnt be here at all...
