Alright so this guy I was seeing sat me down and told me he liked me a lot and just needed some time so that we could date officially. He said he has been dating for more than 5 years and just needed to rest. I was ok with that and was alright with giving him all the time he needed, the problem is this girl just told me today that she's now dating him!! I couldn't believe my ears. I was so hurt and shocked that he could betray me like this. We're not kids, we're 24+...

I am wondering if I should just go and give him a piece of my mind, and tell him that he's a liar and a coward and he shouldn't have treated me this way, because I had respect for him and I cared for him... Or should I just leave him alone...?
Any advice is much appreciated.

i would of told buddy off, and humilaited him infront of this other chick, guys think they can play with our heads, and they think its just a game, to play with our hearts, but its not, it hurts alot, when a guy does that. i would not leave him alone, ask him what this other girl got that u dont?, ask him what you did wrong?, it does not add up because he said he needed time, but that usually means he is not that into you. tell Him ofFf ....

I wouldn't do anything but IF I ran into him again,I would tell him that it was an awful thing he did to you,and he should have been straight with you when he talked to you earlier...BUT..It also sounds like he did try to tell you in "other words" and maybe he didn't want to hurt your feelings by saying he wanted to date the other person...OR>He never intended on you finding out,so if it didnt work out with her,you would be there to take him back...Either way,he COULD have mentioned dating others! Instead he told you he needed a break from dating!
I am sorry you got hurt and I hope everything works out OK for you. Just remember that you deserve to be treated with honesty!
