Why do the guys on this site say they cant or wont date women in thier neighborhood.,.. why should you need to find a woman outside the radius of your hometown.... could it be that u feel safer to love and leave a woman when there's more mileage between you?? Have u already done that to all the women in your neighborhood and now have to go farther to find a woman who doesn't know ur history??

i didn't date men in my home town so much as it was really small and i knew them all too well. also if it didn't work out, i was afraid that i might have someone messing with me or somewhat stalking me.

Good to meet you Night Owl.. I notice you spend a lot of time in the forums...u must be very seasoned to the web-date process... I find that it doesn't matter where or how I meet a man... if he decides to stalk me or give me a hard time... he'll find a way. I guess my experience makes me a little leary of the motives of men's actions... I have also found some agressive men on this site (in a hurry to get ur phone #...and pushing to meet u in person)
I have found that when I try to take the slower pace... and not give out my personal info... they delete me as a possibility... (not that I care, just the method and the reason for my question at hand )

Some men give all men a bad name.We are all not pigs and womenizers and only here for sex.I love sex as much or more then any one but it is NOT the most important part of a relationship. I think communication is.A couple can have great sex but no mater how much time you spend having sex you spend more time NOT having sex and if you can't be honest and talk then it won't work.

As for not wanting to date the women in your town well some of us (like me) live in a very small town and just can't find what your looking for here.For example my last GF here tried to kill me just because I didn't want to be with her any more.After 5 yrs of hell (she wouldn't work clean house take care of the kids or herself after a while)I couldn't take it so I left and she went crazy on me.So you women are NOT the only ones that meet crazy men or get stocked by sickos

Thanks latin and Simba ... those are very good points... trashy, stalker, looney types... But arent those same ppl writing messages on web date.... I just wonder... ppl are ppl... human traits are generally human.... we may broaden our contacts here in the number of potential relationships... but in the end we still end up with a human being with all the flaws, the heartaches, etc.

That's what I thought this was... just a lot of ppl talking ... but some of these guys on here are pests... they badger u for a phone number... then they badger you to meet them somewhere.. I'm sorry... I have a job and a life... I cant (and dont want to ) just drop everything to run across the country looking for a booty call. And I dont like everyone in the world having my personal info(phone # etc).... then the guy wants to send hostile messages because you dont play his way...
