Personality or beauty? Which is more important in the long run?? I have heard this from a lot of men.....You have such a great personality but I am not attracted to you physically......is there anyone out there that can appreciate personality over beauty??

Most guys prefer beauty over anything else just to have some eye candy at their side. I subscribe to the concept that a female with a great sense of humor and a fully functioning brain will always win out over beauty any day of the week, in my book.

I agree 100% with Chino on this one. I am not looking for someone to look at for the rest of my life, I want someone that I can talk to, laugh with and experience life with.

Lol your welcome also, I was just wondering is all. Not that I think beautiful girls cant have a great personality too. It was just a hypothetical question :) I have lots of friends who have it all brains, beauty and great funny personalities. So I hope I did not offend anyone, was not my intention.

While it is true that the majority of men are stimulated visually, there are a few who actually take the time to know a person before making the decision to go the relationship or the friendship route.

It's truly sad that guys think with their lower head more than the one on their shoulders where women are concerned.

You hang in there Manda ... you are beautiful in so very many ways. One day a guy will come along who has his priorities figured out properly and he will pursue you until you let him catch you!

I guess to me as we discussed in another thread, my idea of beautiful may be much different than say another guy. Beauty and attractiveness are very subjective things and opinions will differ. Its kinda like the given in the triad, no matter who you are for the most part someone out there will find you attractive. Brains and personality are pretty straight forward and easy to identify but harder to find. So if you have the big two down (brains and personalities) which you do based on your thoughtful posts, IMO you have the complete package.

Beauty fades... People age... Personality and Inner beauty seem to improve in those people who are indeed genuine... for those that aren't, they become miserable with what they aren't anymore.

a great smile and nice eyes attract me to someone confidence is nice but much confidence is a turn off!ive been with the lot thin model types ex page 3 girls and also curvacious stunning women the gorgeous model types love them selves they know they are gorgeous and most know they can have anyone so are alot of hard work to keep and can be high maintenance the more curvacious va va voom ladies are amazing to be with they make you feel good they appreciate being with you they usually have great personalities!
i much prefer a veluptious woman with personality and not up their own ars** then be with someone who thinks they are the best thing since sliced bread ;)
i got male friends who like massive women and friends who like boney skinny women its all down to personal preference as long as you carry yourself well hold your head high and say hey im me love me for me and i will return the appreciation,try not to slouch and dress in things that show your curves if you buy square baggy clothes then thats all the guys see is square baggy clothes so something nice which shows all them curves and fits in with your body shape says your comfortable with the way you are and not trying to hide away!

lol thanks just trying to speak some truth and it is true different guys like different things in a woman and i know for a fact most guys like a woman with a bit of meat on them!just remember if they get with you girls they are with you for you they like the way you look and feel so be confident when you get undressed for the first time be a little playful and stuff its just as nerve wracking for them as it is you so why not have a little fun whilst doing it :)

For what it's worth I believe that attraction come down to a mix of conventional beauty and personality. The right mix makes someone truly sexy and desirable.

Personality is that blend of confidence, attitude and intelligence. When there is that chemistry between consenting adults it is of course all in the mind and if there is not that connection personality wise then all the beauty in the world is a waste.

To answer the last post I've no real preference looks or body type wise. I know what I like when I see it. I have found in the past slim and fuller figures equally as sexy. One last point is that until someone respects and loves themself I can not understand how they expect someone else to do the same.
