i think we had a thread on this topic not all to long ago. Most men arent raised to be gentlemen any more. its a dying breed, going extinct. Just my personal opinion.

lol.. I care.. I have a daughter.. one would love to know that if there is gentlemen out there.. what it means to distinguish betweena gentle man and a brute? Oh btw.. yeah.. its because there is no gentlemen that I like women :D

I know a few guys who are gentlemen. =) I'm very lucky to know them. They are absolutely wonderful. They were raised to be respectful. Assholes are the new breed. UGH!!!

have to disagree with that statement of assholes being a new breed hahaha assholes have been around for thousands of years. With our technology we just see much more of them all the more often LOL And the change in parenting has made the assholes the mass population unfortunately. True gentlemen are a very rare breed and a dying one at that, when you look at who is out there and their behavior.

Dying breed indeed.. but you know.. If we had the gentlemen of old.. we would lose the freedoms.. some say.. what working 40hrs a week is freedom? Etc.. but really its like one gives for the other.. women are also not the domesticated Divas of olde..But sweetness and understanding mixed with compassion.. wuld be nice.. so if you could have it ur way.. what would a gentlemen mean to you?

There are still gentlemen out there. Most of them live in the south..Not all Just most. If southern boys dont act like gentlemen, their mommas will kick their asses!

I've met a few gentlemen around here but then again I find people always start off decent then you see them for who they really are after awhile. Took me 4 years and I officially don't bother with anyone in my building.

I believe a gentleman is someone who understands how to treat his fellow man & woman. Yes we are a dying breed but the dissolution of the family as a unit is the real culprit. Kicking someone's ass doesn't creat a gentleman or woman. Mastering nurturing, compassion, common decency & good ole chivalry are the ingredients that make up a gentleperson.......

i agree...some people are so good at "playing" the gentleman...then after a while their true colors come out. Darn players! Nothing worse than being strung along to believe they are one type of person only to see the true side later, what a waste of time and energy.
