Honestly can a guy be attracted to a girl who is not skinny? When I was a lot smaller and in great shape, getting a date was never a problem, getting a 2nd date wasn't a problem so my personality must have been ok. Due to a back issue I gained weight which I am working on getting off but does that mean I don't need things like love, sex or all the good stuff? Can a guy look past weight and look at a woman for who she is? A confident, independent and still sexy woman. I can't say big girls need love too cause I actually do want to be in better shape myself but that doesn't happen over night and in the mean time a girl has needs haha

My belief is that some guys are attracted to chubbier woman. I, being one of them. Unfortunately, most are not as apt to want to be with a bigger gal. The way you carry yourself is how you should never change to appease any one guy. The guy who is universally attracted to you will accept you for your traits and your flaws equally. Promote to be in better shape while never forgetting who is the one who guides and supports you throughout the entire process. You both will be much happier for it. But don't think that you don't deserve a good man in your life. We all deserve that special someone. It's just that for some it takes longer than others. :-)

A lot of guys are into bigger girls. But the fact that you're so worried about it will show, and that's the part that people are not attracted to. We all like confidence. I'm glad you are trying to get healthy, but don't let your self image be completely dependent on your size. Love yourself and the guys will come to you.

I think we all need to shed a few pounds-me at least 15. But when someone becomes big or obeses it's not attractive.

I liked all them advice. Confidence is something I am working on getting back. I was in a marriage that was not very healthy and he tore my confidence apart. Something I will not happen again! Maybe its because I was always so fit before its not comfortable for me now. I know that I am a good person who believes the best in others and I have a great personality. I just need to bed happy with all of me. But I was curious what guys think when them look at me, will they see past extra pounds to them person I am? Your comments make me think some might, thank you

I am sure if I started dating a girl like you,and we had similar intrests and I found you fun to be with. We would join hand in hand to overcome what we wish to be. Go to a gym together,shy away from things that do put those extra pounds on us. I think you and whoever you meet with that atitude can acheive what both of you strive for. Remember one has to be part of the solution otherwise you become part of the problem. Have a great day.
