Yes, the 19 is a 9mm. The 23 is a .40 cal. Most army, marines, cops go with the night sight because lasers are not the best for most tactical situations.

I have both... (DROP DEAD FRED SERIOUS) With my close friend, Mr. Glock, I have never had the need for anything else. When he can speak over 18 times without pausing, no one here wants to argue. Yup, laser is like carrying a flashlight, saying "Here I am!" I used to shoot Marksman in the Air Force cause we knew, as air crew members, that no visitor is a good visitor. When in doubt, fire a clip for effect and keep moving.

Again, you leave me speechless in amazement. CCW in LA County is a big ass laugh, I hear. Unless you are a criminal or have money and are a criminal, forget getting a CCW permit. I would doubt that an officer on a routine traffic stop would even notice that you had hands. Guffaw!

I said "more than 18" cause I couldn't recall the total clip size. My feeling is that if I still have a contender after 11 shots, it's time for me to go! Actually, I have never fired more than 3 in a session, other than at the range. Kinda like a 45 - the noise is often good enough. I HATED the 45 and had to fire one before I started flying and went to a 38 then. You display a broad knowledge base. Hmmm. Since the Glock G21 is a 45 caliber, you have everything you need for anything - and they're priced good too. Woohooo.

As a police officer for 15 years, that joke never gets old :-) And you can't blame us cops for asking you to pick up the pen or do the blindfolded breathalyzer - if you weren't so incredibly gorgeous you probably wouldn't have to perform so many tasks for us! I'm all in for the day of shooting with either my on duty Smith & Wesson M&P .40 or my off-duty Glock 23 .40 Then I'm down for the whole night of the rape fantasy too - I think I could bring a certain expertise and realism to the proceedings!

Even though the recoil on a Glock 45 is somewhat better than others, it is still not more than a mixed blessing. Pick something else, bigger than a 22, :-), have more practice shooting, and you will get better hit results - and it is the hits that win or lose. Only on webdate does noise get a score.
