Is it wrong to want a woman who can drink as well as me. Does it make me sound like a horrible person. I'm a sailor, yeah I know go figure sailors and drinking. Yet, when I come home for duty I spend my time in bars. Since I spend six months not able to drink it's like I play catch up. Nothing is more terrible then spending twelve hours after a shift unable to drink. So I'll admit I drink quite a few. I meet girls at the bars. After like an hour its like they are falling on the floor. Vomiting or just acting crazy. I mean I should searching for someone who doesn't drink. Yet I feel it's apart of my lifestyle. Since is apart of my current lifestyle it would be nice to have like a drinking partner. Or someone I can knock a few brews with. Is my request to high maintenance or should I try not drink anymore? Hey, if you want a girl that can drink without falling all over herself, then you should go out and find one! There are a few out there that can do it, you just have to dig to find them.

I don't get WHY people drink and I say you should stop drinking. You have a great future, why ruin it over alcohol? This is how families are destroyed. They start out drinking and having fun and end up alcoholics that can't go WITHOUT drinking. There are millions of deaths every year due to drunk drivers. If you MUST drink, please take it home and stay there. I am sorry, but I have seen too many people who have screwed up their whole life, and their families' lives over drinking. I feel that drinking isn't worth the consequences. What is so big about vomiting and acting crazy? Just be careful....

When your on board ship you tend to do what the others do, but you do have a choice. I seems like all the military men all do the same things at one time or an other. When you get tired of the skivey houses, you can find something else too occupy yourself.

Soo many caring people i'm touched<3. If I had a family I would probably stop drinking. Yet I'm twenty four and single. I mean each one of us military guys do something I would say dumb. Yet my career is safe. I plan to finish my biomedical degree. Gamma I have always wondered if putting a ship in a tiny bottle is a good hobby? No I mean I don't have to drink. I don't do it on a daily basis. All I was asking was why does it seem most girls are light weight drinkers. This is my issue I goto a bar. See someone that seems cool. Then buy her a shot. Then I explain my favorite game which is sadly. Switch. I don't know what you people call it. Yet its when you take a shot of ur favorite drink. Then next round she gets her's. You play normally up to 5 shots. Then see who is left standing. Is it a binge party drink game yeah. Yet its my favorite. Jamerson is the poison shot of choice. I think thats the issue. Kinda hard to compare a Jamerson to a Fuzzy Navel or blue Hawaii.

Women are usually "lightweights" because we are just smaller, lol. And I wouldn't be surprised if there is some difference in metabolisms that can affect our drinking abilities.

Women do not metabolize alcohol as fast as men, and sometimes take hours longer after having just 1 drink before their alcohal levels return to legal levels. Kinda scarry if the gal is drinking as much as a guy.

Militery men are still very young, and they are traveling the world suffering hardship together. They do things that are common to thier way of life. Loneliness and adventure sometimes get the best of thier charracters, so they do things which are seamingly dumb. Thats fine as long as you survive the experience. Ship in a bottle...do it! My grandmother had two very old ones. The maker would build the tiny ship in such a way as to colapse it, and re-erect it inside the bottle. It is positioned with glue, and the water can be paint. This requires some skil, but anyone with patients can do it. Light weight drinkers...girls? Maybe some! I have seen some 90 pounders that could drink an elephant under the table. LOL If your looking for a gal to spent time with, you dont want to waist you nights on a heavy drinker. Most of them will drink until they are useless, and you probably what to knock-off a hot piece of ass.

I actually bought a ship in a bottle is really hard but, I like doing it I'll finish one someday. Second I'm not searching for a "piece of ass". I did the whole knight in shinning armor shit. Woman don't actually want that. Then I realized why I play this game. I want a girl to say I can't keep up. A modest woman is great thing to me. Sure its lonely being a sailor but, I do it because I don't like the suit and tie jobs. I like modest, intelligent woman who are challenging. For some odd reason they're hard to find. I drink because, I enjoy beer and I know my limits. I'm not getting wasted yet, like older alcoholics. I don't drink before noon. I only maintain my buzz. I don't go past buzzed. It takes awhile to learn and master. Yet I feel if you find little things pleasurable while your away. Why not do what makes you happy. Not drinking into a bottle because your feeling sorrow. I don't feel sorrow, I'm already happy with my life I just want to share.

You are somewhat like me. Only, I dont drink much at all. I do like modest, attractive, gutsy women, and cant stand much of the slut type. They just piss me off. LOL I was in the military for a few years, and saw all of that other stuff. Looking back, I dont know how I survived it.

I've had my share of the poison too... I realize it is a depresant and makes your problems more intense and confuses you... I know it will lead to some stupid shit man, I've been there recently and I'm lucky I'm alive and I cherish this fact... I drink because I'm sad, then I just get more sadness inside and it is an endless cycle that leads to death... Of course not all people react the same but the fact is that it just causes more problems, the euphoric feeling is not worth what it does to your body and mind... I'm glad you could walk away, I don't drink heavy but I imagine you had withdrawl symptoms... I watched a detox show on HBO and that shit was serious man, people having seizures and all... Good Luck Man...
