Ladies. I recently met a friend who is also a widow like myself. I understand she is very confused and lonely right now and is not ready for a serious relationship. Right now I am just a friend who understands what she is going through (I get calls late at night when she goes through a melt down. I don't mind I am her friend). The part I am confused about is her flirting (calling me babe, hansome). The other night we were listening to a band and took a break and went outside for some air. As we were sitting there talking, she was talking putting her hands on me (casually) then she is inches from my face and asks me if her lipstick is ok. First I would never take advantage of her. Second I want to see if there is a posibility of a relationship other then friends. Third I don't want to ruin the friendship. Help me understand thanks.

She is probably just looking for some affection because she is lonely. I think most of us get that way once in awhile. I would suggest that if you really do want a real relationship, to hold off and let her go through the emotions she's going through before you move in.

Thats so hard man, a girl loved me as i loved her, but she wont be lovers, she just wanted to keep me beside her al the time i can :-C i loved her so much. :'(

You might want to tell HER -if she keeps flirting -that you are attracted to her but don't want to take advantage of her situation. If she makes a move, then let her know what you want from a potential relationship -she's vulnerable, but you apparently don't want to be taken advantage of, either.
Just be honest (yet very careful with your words!)
