I keep getting this message as a banner when I log in; although I have clicked to have another email sent to my email of record, no email has ever arrived.

"You haven't verified your email. Please check your inbox for the confirmation link, or click here to have a new one..."

I have set up my account, edited my profile, uploaded pictures and messaged other members (although none has replied so far). I am wondering if my account is "active" yet or whether their is a waiting period or what is the deal?

it is active. i have had that message for a year or more. can't get rid of it but everything functions on site as it should.

You can check to see if your account is live or not and also see what other people can see. Go to Home page, look on center right side for the place where you can search for another by inserting the user name. Type in your user name and hit enter. You will see it all.
