Italian Ice cream..although they use gelato to any dessert that can be frozen. Google gelato, you will get more info than you ever wanted or needed to know. Then check with your local market..some carry gelato ...it's located with the ice cream.

Tres Leches is a mexican cake..translated 3 milks...it is basically a cake but the cake part is soaked in milk/cream...so it literally melts in your mouth. Tres Leches cake does not keep well...it melts almost like ice cream...the fact that it is so soaked in liquid...it does not have much of a shelf life as it tends to droop and fall apart. I don't really know how it is made, I am using my personal experience with it, and it is the best cake EVER!!! If you have any mexican of latin american markets in your area you might go in and ask if they carry tres leches cake...it is def something you should try.
