Now that she's sober she still loves me and Chef Boyardee. Although I'm hoping not to the extent she loved us both during that post.

The upcoming signing of Jason Bay to my beloved New York Mets. Can't wait for the press conference.

Thanks in due part for the sheer stupidity of Omar Minaya and the Wilpons. Why they're still around baffles even me.

1. The Wilpons have owned the Mets since they became an expansion team.
2. Omar Minaya thinks he's still in Montreal.

All valid points. There were rumors regarding that they should sell the team. And also, we had an injury-ridden season as well and we was in first place at one point point despite the injuries.

Due to injuries. Let's be fair. 2007 was a choke, however.

2008 was just a terrible, terrible year. 2009 was due to injuries. Let's be fair and rational about this. Yes, we screwed up up in big spots, I'm willing enough to admit that with games on the line, but in part of that was due to injuries this past season. Let's be reasonable.

Reasonable?? Me?? I know not the meaning of such a term. My Braves will be back to their winning ways in '10. Sure the Phillies traded one Cy Young award winner for another, but that's the only real splash that has happened to that bunch. The Mets big acquisition is Jason Bay. The Braves however added Melky Cabrera (via trade) and Troy Glaus, and they're not done yet by a longshot.

True, the Braves will be a dangerous team. They'll be back to their winning ways. I respect Bobby Cox for his sheer managerial skills, rivaling that of the Phillies. And the Nationals won't be a walk in the park either.

Mets needs help, starting with pitching for one.
