True friends are very very hard to come by, but when you recognize someone as being a true friend then you should do your best to hold on to them. Just because someone has been in your life for along time does not necessarily mean that they are a true friend. Someone who is accepting of your past and that believes in your futher will create a positive presence in your life. A true friend will never try to change you in anyway because they will love the real you, unless they notice that you are'nt acting as yourself and will make them worry. A true friend will never turn their back on you for any given reason, no matter how many mistakes you make or how far down in life you get. A true friend will be there for you no matter what through thick and thin, even when they know that you are wrong and they will help you make things right again. But a true friend will accept you as a friend unconditionally, with no strings attached .

Also a true friend is someone who doesn't spill your business out to everyone and always has your back through hard times.

You and I have had our differences in the past, Danny. You know I like you and you have always have been so honest and upfront with me. You are one of the many people that I am glad that I had the chance of getting to know. You are a spectacular person and friend. People are lucky to have your friendship. I think you try too hard to get people around here to like you. I don't think you should do that. It's their lost if they let the opportunity of having you as their friend pass them up!

Oh, I'm not kissing your ass, I am being TOTALLY honest with you. I have no reason to kiss your ass and because we're friends already.

Although I sometimes get frustrated and pissed, I soon return to "center" and am in balance again. Real friends don't stab you in the back constantly. They are honest with you about absolutely everything. Oh, they don't sleep around with someone you like or your boyfriend. This day in time and it's hard to find a true friend. The ones I do have now; which isn't that many, and I value and appreciate their friendship!!! I love them to death!
